Mt. Carmel Counseling Center

Our counseling team is here for you! Our mission is to reduce barriers that make accessing counseling difficult.  We can support treatment services including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, trauma or relationship struggles, PTSD and life transitions. We accept most major insurances, and offer sliding scale options on a case by case basis.  To begin the process, we offer a no cost screening appointment that helps determine next steps that are best for you.  Treatment is provided by licensed professionals, post-grad/prelicensure therapists, and graduate interns supervised by an on-site supervisor who is licensed in the State of Colorado. All clinicians are uniquely trained and experienced in providing military specific services. All of the graduate interns are chosen from the top accredited Universities along the front-range, have completed advanced coursework in mental health services, and provide confidential, trusted and supervised care. Many providers have either served or are military connected.

Comeback Yoga

At Comeback Yoga we are removing barriers and making yoga accessible to the entire military community. We go to where our students are and where they already feel comfortable. From drill floors to mountain tops, Comeback Yoga is there.

Comback Yoga Logo

Yoga supports both individuals with chronic pain and PTS. Which, we know, accounts for many members of the military community. While all yoga can support PTS and pain management, Comeback Yoga classes are designed specifically to support this community and the symptoms that commonly reside within it. Everything from what words teachers say to how they teach poses and breath practices is tailored for veterans and members of the military. We focus on tools within yoga that help down regulate the nervous system, and alleviate trauma symptoms all while moving the body in sustainable ways. More so, when students come to class, they know that they are already in a room, or virtual room, with people who have had similar life experiences.
Availability: Starting January 7th of 2024, the plan is to have it on Sunday at 8:30 am.

Contact: For more information you can call 719-309-4758.

Each retreat is tailored to address specific topics associated with individuals, couples and families. These events are offered intermittently throughout the months of March through September.

Eligibility: Military, Veterans (regardless of discharge status, era of service, or disability) and family members. Space is limited at these events, so RSVP is required.
