This comprehensive course provides essential knowledge and hands-on experience for safe and responsible hunting—and offers participants the opportunity to earn a Colorado Hunter Safety Card. \nInstruction includes hunting ethics\, wildlife management\, basic survival skills\, first aid\, hunting laws\, and an introduction to rifles\, shotguns\, and archery. Participants will receive both classroom and supervised range instruction. \nDates & Times: \n\nJuly 11\, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.\nJuly 12\, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.\n\nLocation:\n565 Communications Circle\, Suite 100\nColorado Springs\, CO \nTo receive a Hunter Safety Card\, participants must attend both days\, pass a 50-question written exam (minimum score of 78%)\, and successfully complete a live-fire evaluation. All class materials are provided.
