Carmel Veterans Service Center as we proudly participate in the annual Monument 4th of July Parade\, a cherished Tri-Lakes tradition celebrating community\, patriotism\, and summer fun!\nWhile Mt. Carmel will be featured in the Main Parade\, we encourage you and your family to enjoy the full day of festivities happening throughout Monument and Palmer Lake. It’s a fantastic opportunity to come together\, celebrate our nation\, and support local businesses and organizations. \n🎆 Event Schedule Overview\n\n7:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Pancake Breakfast hosted by St. Peter’s Knights of Columbus at St. Peter Catholic Church\n7:00 AM: Palmer Lake 4th of July Fun Run (from Palmer Lake Santa Fe Trailhead to Monument)\n9:30 AM: Children’s Parade begins in downtown Monument\n10:00 AM: Main Parade kicks off in Historic Downtown Monument (look for Mt. Carmel!)\n\n🎉 Surrounding Festivities\n\nStreet Fair & Vendors: Hosted by the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce on Second and Washington Streets\, featuring food\, arts & crafts\, and local businesses\nLimbach Park Beer Garden (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM): Enjoy live music from Colorado musicians in a family-friendly atmosphere\n\n🚗 Parking & Viewing Tips\n\nPlan Ahead: Downtown Monument closes to traffic early and parking is extremely limited\nShuttle Service: Park at Lewis-Palmer High School (1300 Higby Rd) and take the shuttle:\n\nInbound: 7:30 AM – 9:45 AM\nOutbound: 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM\n\n\nPrime Viewing Spots: Many attendees reserve curbside seating well in advance\, arrive early if you want the best view!\n\n\nWe’re honored to be part of this meaningful community celebration and hope to see you along the parade route.
