Survey Project Manager / Geodetic Land Surveyor / LSIT
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Description: The Survey Project Manager leads the Survey department by providing technical oversight and project management. The successful candidate will provide geodetic survey data for support of our aerial acquisition team.
Duties:
• Assist with marketing efforts including proposal estimating and development
• Coordinate numerous survey or mapping projects simultaneously
• Compute horizontal and vertical coordinates of control networks
• Calculate geographic positions from survey data
• Supervise and coordinate all phases of land survey
• Take responsibility for work results and progress of assigned projects
• Perform survey calculations as required for:
 aerial targets or photo ID points
 state plane surface conversions
 survey closures
 geodetic ties and ground truthing/calibration points
• Serve as client contact when necessary
• Direct the activities of GPS work including geodetic and topographical surveying
• 25% travel is required
Requirements:
• LSIT preferred but not required
• Ability to provide technical oversight of projects including quality assurance and quality control of procedures and work products
• Ability to promote and monitor field and office procedures to assure a high level of consistent work product and service quality across our practice
• Ability to promote and monitor the comprehensive safety program for the survey practice
Preferred Qualifications:
• LSIT certificate
• 3-5 years of professional surveying experience, working in a professional office environment
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience processing survey data using Trimble Business Center
• Knowledge of technological advances, principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying
• Experience with survey project management including preparation of proposals and tracking project budgets
• Ability to speak and write professionally
